Raleigh Durham area ranks No. 4 for happy cities

Economists at Harvard University and the University of British Columbia set out to study happiness in American cities, and how it affects how people decide where to build their lives. From that study, “Unhappy Cities,” a working paper, was released by the U.S. National Bureau of Economic Research last week. While metro areas like New York, NY and Pittsburgh, PA ranked as the most unhappy in the country, North Carolina’s Raleigh-Durham metro found itself on the opposite end, ranking No. 4 on the list of “10 happiest metropolitan areas with a population greater than 1 million.” Click the attached link to learn more
